"We can't lose any other ressources for this. I don't want to jeopardize the other agents there, it's too dangerous. There won't be any rescue mission for her. The operation is cancelled."
"Sir!? but... We can't let her down like this! She had been tortured all night long! They say she will be executed tomorrow morning, we can't..."
"Enough. She knew the risks. Daniels, send a letter to her family, with the usual bullshits, "Sorry for your loss... She was a true american... blablabla...". And to you all, delete every evidence about this mission. Everything. This operation never happened. If someone asks why an american female soldier was in Kartomga, tell them she went there by her own will, without any authorization coming from the US Army."

Kartomga is a tough place for any agent to be assigned a mission! Remember what happened there to Barbara Moore! Nasty business, that.

There ought to be a discount after all, since the witch marks on her back are so obvious that even a blind torturer could see them. Even if she is declared (temporarily) innocent, a good long session in the witch's chair will do her a lot of good in taking off some of that extra poundage which she has.

If the family couldn't afford it, this bill could be paid with the accused woman'body. It's the case here.

For tortured all night long she seems to be in a good and relaxed condition.
