I was thinking the same thing. Who are man and woman crucified to two parts of the same tree? Adulterators or fornicators caught in the act? How did the poor bitch on the right find herself nailed to a tree with a branch which can be used to torture her labia? The empty pole at the right has many holes, so the crosses are frequently used.

I recently have been reading that 23 million Chinese have a too low score on the social credit system. Last year, some social scientist here, coined the idea that such a system would be needed in the future too in Europe, in order to make our densely crowded society run smoothly.

There they are, on the cross, those whose social credit has gone under the minimum treshold.

I so have a recurring vision of a family being crucified together for crimes against the state. Before hand they where whipped and paraded in the streets. If I had any talent I would write a story but sadly I do not but its in my minds eye.
