I have experienced "green Videos" with a barely discernible picture outline on sites where one might at least expect "blue videos" (sorry about that couldn't resist it) but never stills.
 
I've shifted these posts from 'Impalations' as they raise a Technical Question.
It seems to be only an occasional problem - for individual members with particular images or videos,
but if it appears to be more widespread, this thread will be a place to alert Administrators
and discuss possible causes/ solutions.
