I read the book many years ago and i have seen about 3 different films titled ` The Story of O` . I would recommend if any of you out there have not read the book , buy or borrow a copy sit down and read it

I fully agree.
The movies are nothing but a very diluted copy of the book. If you learned some French at school, years ago, you have an opportunity. Sit down, read the original, taste it word by word, and languish. Neither the images nor the movies can stand near to even the shadow of the original text.
