What a tacky motive - they could at least have claimed that they killed those men to rid the World of a load of Capitalist/Fascist vermin who were bleeding the working man and woman in the street for there own pleasure.
They would still have hanged, but many would have respected them as "Heroines of The Revolution." (Whatever that revolution might be - but then there is always a "Revolution", even if it is not visible.)
