I don't think the probe used in the scene is really connected to be honest. I did view the piece with alarm as the wielder makes no effort to avoid the left hand side of the body but looking at it closely there does not appear to be any of the normal involuntary muscle spasm that you get with even light touch current and well...people tend to try instinctively to move away from electric-shocks and she just hangs there.

There are loads of sites and software out there that will give you access to blocked pages all over the world. In fact there are so many ways to evade blocking that I wonder why ISPs and governments still bother to try to do it.
