It was in white.
Highlights very well in Blackend (which I thouht was the standard setting).
Well, confusingsly, Blackend is the default setting for the Forums but actually it's an option from the point of view of XenForo, our service provider,
and conversely Default (white background) is the default setting for XenForo but an option for the Forums
A minority of us opt for the white background for optical reasons, but it does mean light coloured fonts are a problem for us
(and deep colours can be a problem on Blackend)
