Brampton’s obsession with hanging the so-called women criminals did not end with Patricia Goudebody’s execution nor would she be last of an IMF member to be put to death being hanged by her neck. Archbishop Wragg from the Cruxton Abbey had a fancy for Miss Hardnokker and tried to bed her. A proper officer of the IMF, she refused his advances. Angered by his rejection, the archbishop (without any proof) accused her of being a lesbian.
Lesbianism is not a crime in Brampton but certainly a violation of Miss Hardnokker’s IMF code of conduct pledge she took when she joined the force. Though Miss Hardnokker was an excellent warden of the women’s prison, her broken pledge was enough to have her hanged in the prison’s courtyard. A fine crowd showed up to see her hanged. After all, she had overseen many women’s executions and it could be argued she did not look bad hanging naked by her neck.
Then there was the publication of Prof. Barbara Moore’s book about the abuse of justice in the persecution of women. Thinking she was beyond prosecution, she boldly traveled to Brampton for the introduction of her work.
She was arrested at the Brampton International Airport by their customs agents. Barbara would be tried for degrading Brampton and sentenced to be hanged as a rebel leader.
A huge crowd turned out to see Barbara’s hanging. They had never seen a celebrity hanged before. Miss Moore could not believe the lewd catcalls as she was brought up the gallows stairs wearing nothing more than the cuffs binding her wrists behind her back.
Standing naked on the gallows, the mayor of Brampton prepared to put the noose over her head. He admits “We have never hanged a famous woman before.”
“You really don’t need to” Barbara says. “You don’t have to hang me!”
The mayor laughs “I am not going to hang you. We have a professional to do that. We want you to take a long time to croak while you are hanged.”
Barbara did a magnificent job not pissing as she stood noosed on the gallows. The lever was pulled and she was hanged following her short drop. Though she vowed to be graceful during her execution, she thrashed like all the other women hanged have done.
The camera’s recorded everything. Barbara won the Pulitzer Prize posthumously for her book.
Despite international pressure, Brampton still carries on with its capital punishment of women. They claim it is not done for recreational purposes…
