I believe that being crucified with your arms over the top of the horizontal beam, and tied or nailed behind, is the more painful way of being crucified. Perhaps someday I will tell a story of my experience with the subject. I'm sure all you crucifixion fans would enjoy it.

#4 is good art, but #1 & 5 shows better what happens to their shoulders as they are hanged this way
