Alas, the age-old tradition of bidding loved ones happy holidays, to the accompaniment of photographs that make them cringe, is alive and well.
"What?" Vega replied. "No, no, no. The world is the ornament, locked outside for the day. You're the unwrapped gift, ready to be used, in case you hadn't noticed."
"Ah, that definitely clarifies things. Merry Repose, darling."
