Blowed if I noticed the weather Madiosi, I was concentrating on other things. A crucifixion in the rain not so good but OK when the cross is raised.

They don't look happy about their sitch anyway. Understandable in the circumstances. How is a crucifixion in the rain better after the cross is raised. They certainly don't stop getting wet, and raising crosses does not necessarily change the weather.

From the executioners point of view they can push off for a cup of tea in the dry and leave the victims to get a good soaking, job done. I suppose a crucifixion has to go ahead whatever the weather.

From the victim's point of view .... a nice gentle soaking is probably preferable to baking under the sun.

It's a rare opportunity here on CF. Real life condemned would only get one shot to "get it right". You get to go over and over and really build an optimal approach.
