Chapter 12: One last arrow
The end is near.
The next one to be comdemned will be me.
And the death sentence is not really in question.
That's so sure like an "Amen" in the church.
Hence ... I am already dead.
Now it's time for me to face the cold brutality
of the diabolic justic system
in its whole unbearable mercilessness.
But one thing is more painful, even much more, than my inevitable death:
The thought that my worst enemy, the interrogation officer, gets away with her activities
is just unbearable.
And when she will get the news from my end ... she will laugh again.
Horrible thought!
This humiliation is the very worst of my life.
It means doubtless that I'll expire as a loser.
What a death ...
And that the judge is also in a bad mood (picture 100)
makes my situation not better, quite on the contrary.
Not to mention that we already know us from the past.
Most probably she will not hesitate a second to sentence me to death.
Then the trial starts.
(picture 101)
When she recognizes me ...
her enthusiasm is rather limited.
(picture 102)
What follows is a long sermon.
The judge is really angry.
I try to save the situation with my usual politeness,
starting an accentuatedly friendly conversation.
(picture 103)
And indeed, soon the athmosphere becomes much more harmonic.
(picture 104)
But when she offers me something ... I react rather sceptic.
That's probably a trap!
(picture 105)
She's slightly surprised.
But then,
after some further solaceful words and more friendly conversation
(pictures 106-108)
... the moment of truth has come:
The judge offers me a cigarette.
That's my chance.
Now or never ...
So I don't hesitate, not a single second.
This is my very last arrow ...
Instead of taking the marvelous present I try to survive without the cigarette,
immediately starting to tell the judge some very important things.
(picture 109)
With very flowery words I "inform" the judge about all of the shocking and
not printable things which the interrogation officer had said about her.
So much unbelievable affronts ...
Well, actually I lie as I never lied before in my life.
I even invent lots of new abusive words.
This arrow must hit its target!
After my "report" the judge is heavily shocked about the "information".
She's raging!
That must have consequences ...
My trial is even interrupted for a short break.
And for a few minutes the judge leaves the courthouse.
Thank god nobody can see my facial expression in this moment ...
...
