Thursday, January 18, 2018–Day 18: Today is a "three-fer Thursday"–3 images instead of 1! All 3 are from "The Greek Girls", Apostate’s wonderful story that I illustrated in 2011. The first of these 3 was a study of what the girls might look like–sort of a proof-of-concept to see how the characters might look. The girl’s dresses are Grecian but I really couldn’t use them in the actual story because the dresses were for an earlier version of the Victoria character and didn’t really work on the V-4 character I was using. Too bad. They looked pretty good. I did use a variation of this rendering for the cover of the story and also for the funeral masks that appear at the end of the story. The second rendering is a test of what the girls would look like naked (and I think they look pretty good, if I do say so myself!) The last of the three is a recent re-working of one of the images during the girl’s crucifixion, specifically when the girl’s nurse, Alberta, arrives to comfort the dying Adonia. While I am pleased with much of my work in the story, some of the scenes on the cross, got a little sloppy. I was using a newer version of the software and a newer computer and I wasn’t really used to doing multi-figure images and we were anxious to get the story done. There are a number of things that still bother me a little in how it all turned out (not enough to redo them all, however) but this third image is sort of test of how I might have done it, if I were doing it now.

Well, I for one was highly miffed that the girls were dressed for 1805 CE France rather than for 19 BCE Greece.
By which I mean this was a crux story, and the point was to get two pretty girls nailed as naked as possible to crosses as quickly as possible. What they were wearing before that was incredibly beside that point.

Yes it looks as though she is nearing the end. Things are going black after a long day of suffering on her cross. Fits so well with my own fantasies of being nailed up there to suffer and die.

Saturday, January 20, 2018 Day 20: Once outside of town, the jeering crowds had thinned out. She was exhausted from what she had already experienced–being stripped, raped and paraded naked through the streets for the amusement of the crowd. Still, she knew, her ordeal was far from over. Each step drew her closer to her final fate, each cruel blow of the whip on her naked flesh forced her reluctantly forward. She knew all too well what awaited her and her terror mounted with each step. She knew that all her future held was shame, inconceivable pain and death. After a long and agonizing ordeal, she would be nothing more than meat for the hungry birds and animals who cared nothing for who she had been or what she had endured...

I wonder if they were ever struck by lightning? A cross out in the open during a thunderstorm would be at high risk of a strike.

I've been on a golf course when a thunderstorm came through and it is scary. I also once saw an old Insex clip where a model named Mallory (aka 'Piglet') was tied outside in a thunderstorm. It was pouring rain and there was thunder and lightning in the background. In reality it was a very reckless thing for the dom, PD, to do, but it was genuinely terrifying. I can only imagine what she was feeling--the total helplessness she must have felt. In a real crucifixion, being struck by lighting would have been a mercy.

The usual suite of super strength, super speed, flight and X-ray vision would be nice, but I’d settle for the power to cloud men's minds.

Eulalia, it could come to that, at least the incoherent part. After all, if you’re the one who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, CF can be a bit of evil overload. That goes double for the hearts of women.

Thanks Cruxlover for this unique (in my experience) image showing the crucified female having had her legs broken, a victim of crucrifragium.
The link <https://worldofdictionary.com/dict/latin-english/meaning/crurifragium> details the meaning of the term 'crurifragium' as the breaking
of the legs of crucified victims.
Rarely (if ever) are crucified victims shown with broken legs, even among images in the 'dead crucified bodies' thread. Bravo!
Apparently, the Romans considered this 'an act of mercy' as it would hasten the death of the victim they had crucified - the victim could no longer push their agonised body up to enable them to breathe.

I attach a crucifixion manipulation I created featuring Meredith (Mitchel?), a star of Elite Pain Case 18, having her legs broken. On the other side of the cross, I manipulated an image of Jenet from behind. She may be about to have a spear driven into her side, ending her suffering and thus creating another crucifixion opportunity (or perhaps to suffer further punishment by a spear being driven and twisted in her breasts, causing further entertainment for the Roman mob).
The reason for 2 victims being nailed up on the same cross was a surplus of victims sentenced be crucified and a shortage of available crosses to which they could be nailed.
