And take a T-cross! But not with round woods. Take square ones. Wrap the arms of the crucified around a crossbar with a square plan and tie his ankles very tightly to the protruding corners. That hurts. If someone crucified like that screams for hours in front of the other slaves and writhes in agony, that keeps the other slaves from any rebellion, believe me.

This beast is designed pretty modular, what constellation would you prefere?
With or without support in the crotch?
Arms more T, more V or more L like?
Feet fixed on the side, standing on a metal bar or more pony horse like?

The basic material is aluminium. I used this profile system, which was available at a local hardware store: https://www.alfer.com/
Guess they never thought what their stuff could be used for. For the attachments I used stainless steel. Once stainless steel - always stainless steel; don't like galvanized whatsoever.
The overall weight is ok, but it is no lightweight. Don't think this would be true if it would have been completely made of steel.
I don't think there is a big market for metal T crosses; just considering the pure material costs and most people will thankfully refuse it. Nevertheless it was big fun to plan it, to build it and of course to discover its useability.

What an interesting contraption. I imagine this being used in some Sci Fi movie but, then, it all depends on who's going to hang on it, right?

The beauty of such a cross is adjustability, it could take various configurations and adapt to different individuals and needs.
