DAZ is a complex suite of programs. I'm going to assume that the part you're going to be using is the Poser bit, so I've dug out the link to a bunch of tutorials on Youtube. All 3D software has an almost vertical learning curve, and DAZ is no exception, so you'll need to give yourself time to learn it. It will take you a while to get to grips with it I'm sure, but once mastered, the results can be awesome.
As I always tell people with regard to Photoshop, learn one tool or technique at a time and practice it until you get the desired results without too much effort.

This is a basic tutorial, and check out all the others on this page too - there are millions of tutorials on Youtube for DAZ and just about everything else. Also, a quick Google search will turn up masses of useful help. Just search for "daz studio tutorial" or similar.
As with most things, once you start playing with it, things gradually become a lot easier.
