Yes, some taboos are persistant. I just don't understand why a major portion society finds nudity to be something to frown upon. This nude scene should have been celebrated, she is beautiful.

In the spirit of Bob's antique post, the temptation of St Anthony, a lady who rather likes her crucified nude female statue, a lost goddess, and a book. I just read this book last week, but although there is a female Jesus in it there is no female crux , the cover is very misleading.

I posted one image of this model on a cross the other night. I have found others images in the series while surfing today ( finding these makes this a very good day). This woman is beautiful, and on the cross, looks even more beautiful. My favorite crux scenes are the outdoor scenes, and this one is fantastic. It is too bad I do not know more about this series, or have more pictures, because it is close to being one of my favorites. I like the fact she has a bush, and no tattoos, because it adds to the fantasy that these images are from a bygone age. She could be some criminal in Roman times for instance.

The last image is dedicated to Eulalia, who, like I, has a thing for Andromeda, daughter of Cepheus, and Cassiopeia. This could be Andromeda on a cross waiting for that sea monster.

She has done a few crux series ('Die Hard', 'In the cellar', 'Jacoba' and another with a smoking fire) - as you say, a stunningly attractive model, and very popular with manipulators! B

Thank you Bob! Yes, I already knew the pic and story going with it, as I'm on Deviantart, too (but just as a lazy lurker, I've to admit). It's a good fantasy based on the real events of Boudicca's rebellion. Her story always fascinated me and she was certainly very well inspired to take her own life rather than let the Romans capture her alive!

This being said, the best pic about her to my eyes is this one (already posted elsewhere on the forum):

It shows that she actually was a middle-aged woman, unbelievably humiliated (for a Queen) and already eager to take revenge on her tormentors. My kind of woman !
