Interesting series. If I had to guess, I'd say that they are probably French - they seem to have that sort of style about them. I tried googling the name, and the best result I got was this page; (Which does indeed seem to confirm my original suspicions)Some 19th century dude who signed his stuff Fameni-Leporini, about whom basically nothing is known.

Are these photo's on a right place in this forum?
It does look a bit like them and it would fit their "libertine" lifestyle. Although, it might have been more likely to have Percy fucking Mary and Byron fucking Percy. Anyway, the artist did manage a reasonable likeness of the trio.I'm not at all sure if this is actually an early 19th drawing, nor of the artist's intent, but the picture does recall the purported lifestyle of the participants.
So. Maybe Mary didn't spend all her time in that gloomy summer of 1816 writing Frankenstein.

Ironically, although they were considered giants in their day, Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley are better know for their lifestyles and their works are only read by college literary majors (like me), whereas everyone in the world has heard of Frankenstein (even if very few have actually read it).
