This is my dilemma, I want to suffer the most intense scourging, plus some pre-torture (extracting my confession perhaps), and further feel the lash on my dreadful Via Crucis.

Perhaps they could scourge me brutally the week before, so I somewhat recover, and re-open my whip wounds using the lash during my Via Crucis?

When I am nailed to the cross, I want the terrible whip marks freshly bleeding, so that when this slave is raised blood drips from it’s flesh in addition to its wrists and ankles.

But I deserve to suffer for a long time, a proper suffering slave’s death. If then they lengthened my time hanging in the cross with a cruel Cornu, then I beg to suffer such an indignity.

But because of the brutal whipping and other torture, perhaps I would struggle to live more than a day. Unless they let me recover a week or so after the scourging.

So many options, this slave is also quite honestly open to being whipped to death over several days, but thinks that might be less entertaining for spectators

I decided to ignore my Doctor’s advice for this experiment. He’s all too likely to come up with some objection like “crucifixion is perilous to your health “ or “crucifixion is bad for the environment “, let’s be honest- I’m probably only going to do it once so can safely ignore the risk, right?
