At a noted American University, a private residence called the "Scholar's Quad" paid undergraduates to chalk advertisements on the sidewalk during visitation week for prospective students. They drew a lot of attention. "Scolar's Quad".

In truth that could be me in my flat (except it's an old building, not modern like that),
not answering the door (though a couple of weeks ago a plumber let himself in
and nearly caught me in much that dress-code, hastily pulling on my jeans when I greeted him!

Since long, milk jugs are made in the shape of a cow, with the tail as a handle and which serve milk through the cow's mouth. Very fancy gadget, but difficult to apply, and the milk was easily spilled, as, due to the elongated shape, the gravity center was usually located rather forward from the tail/handle.
