I can put up with a hairy pussy on a woman (within reason), despite it not being ideal, but hairy armpits have never been acceptable to me

In the late’60s-early ‘70s not shaving armpit hair was considered de rigueur among the flower-power set (of which I was one). But, honestly, I never cared for hair there. But then I never liked ANY hair on my lady that didn’t emanate from above her nose.

It wasn’t so much that people wanted hairy armpits, it was that we eschewed shaving it for cosmetic, or appearance’s, sake. Go natural or go home.
