Siss, not only do you write great poems, but you have great taste in music!
Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Joni Mitchell...doesn't get much better than that!
"Remember me to one who lives there
For she was once a true love of mine"
Great, great,great song!!!!!
On of my all time favorite Bob Dylan songs.

Huh, learned something. Was not aware of Bob Dylan's version. I had always heard just the Simon and Garfunkel.
Agreed. Siss has great taste in music. Good taste all around, actually.

Bob Dylan wrote the song and recorded it in 1963 for his second album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". He then re-recorded it as a duet with the late great Johnny Cash in 1969, and put it on the album "Nashville Skyline". The duet version is my favorite, because of the inclusion of Johnny Cash, who is my favorite C&W singer....I could listen to the man in black all day! As a matter of fact I am listening to Johnny singing "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" right now ....what a great song, always gives me shivers down my spine, just a great song!
"Cause there's something in a Sunday
That makes a body feel alone
And there's nothin' short of dyin'
That's half as lonesome as the sound
Of the sleepin' city side walk
And Sunday mornin' comin' down"
;)
