Well......... I'm the one who said: "When you've seen one crucifixion you've seen them all." and it is at least in part true. I think we need to go off topic occasionally to keep things interesting that's why I started my slave galley to Europe story line. From time to time anyone can get... I suppose it amounts to writers block where we just sit and stare at a blank sheet of paper in a manner of speaking.
There is plenty of work being presented here, is not all crucifixion stuff and it can't be. There was a time when I would have saved any picture I could get my hands on then I started running out of disc space and had to do some deleting. Then I purchased one of the W.D. Book drives (It's 2 TB.) and I have more then enough space but I've become a little jaded. So when I down load a pix to really look at the first thing that occurs to me is: Do I really want that.
Apostate and I have been on line friends for years, I more or less understand what he's looking for in his fantasy, the things that push his buttons are females mounted on wood, and only high enough that if you were standing before a woman crucified in this manner her face would be at eye level with you. Such pictures look good but not everyone would agree. Some like her higher and ext.
I thin we're doing okay, around the holidays things always slow down but I expect we'll be coming out of that soon.

I agree with all you say Helmut but there have been plenty of crucifixion images that have been posted which Apostate has ignored/missed so why complain about the lack of such pics? It is not good for general morale. I also agree with Fantasmo that there is a flood of cheap porn. I think there needs to be a frank discussion in the Staff Room about such issues.
 
I don't really see any issue currently, other than the fact probably that work is more and more squeezing out the last drop of our energy and just not leaving space (or air) to be creative as we'd like to be.
Just take myself as an example: I discovered the Crux scene only in early summer 2011.
Soon after I started to build a cross.
Said project got larger and larger as a consequence of interesting discussions I had with a certain female crux lover. (two different crosses, erectable with a winch, transportable, useable "at a beach" etc, etc... I went a bit "over board" on that one ;) )
Still, everyting basically is finished since 2 months, except the final assembly.
I'll not have time to do any work on it before march however.

I am drawing in pencil and have many projects, I just can't find the time to draw currently.

I am sure this is a problem many are facing, things were different 10 years back.

Having said so, we still are seeing plenty of contributions of all kind, texts, renders and fotos every day. And a considerable amount is new, although not everything is really crux related, but sure in the larger context.

I for one will start to contribute new stuff from april, and I am looking forward to that.
 
Yes it' Italalian tradition, we have Pope here ,when i was born everthing was different from now..
We are trying to find some balace betwen others religiosns, we are not violent and welcoming everyone
Religion and Christianesim is more radicate in south italy there are still using same penitece of past times.
To me is all about what is good and what is bad untilly you don't do anything against others human beens, you live being honest and caring whit unfortunate people trying to help them also by giving them your food if is neccessary.
Christian or not this is my religion.

Hi,
The main point I want to make is that crux art has not diminished but is expanding due to the growing number of artists. Their contributions are welcomed! as are the BDSM contributions. I also think that the general quality is excellent compared to what you may find on other sites.
 
I still want to know why Apostate has ignored our crux pics for the last two years and then say that crux pics have dried up.

Personally i don't know how and why i found this forum, by the way i'm not a huge fan of crucifxion, but i recall old forum and when was decided to have BDSM section.
If i have to watch the forum in the globality, sice i run many forums, i don't care at having a lot of users, i prefere having less people more intrested.
I still remeber how frustrating was first times i became a member , there was a new message in a week , now we have much more activity, and yes also good quality as Mel said.
And i think awever that the staff deserve a lot of congratulation, i just take Melissa as exemple perfetct moderator, allways caring, never intrusive just one of us as Imagemaker too.
This is very important and make people feel at home, and do more for the forum if is possible.
My opinion of course.

Yes - and although only a minority are 'active',​
it's a big enough minority to post a wonderful range of different kinds of material -​
great images, hilarious picture-stories, interesting discussions, lots of different styles of writing, varied videos -​
I've just been offline for three days and am amazed at the quantity and a great deal of quality that's appeared in that short time.​
Of course some of it's better than other bits, not everything will appeal to everyone,​
but 'things ain't what they used to be' is just the eternal moan of grumpy old men!​

The first picture is simply wonderful. The girl's perfect, youthful body is stunning. Her hands tied behind her back by a chain make her extremely vulnerable and desirable. Her jewelry suggest she's a high-ranking prisoner, probably the king's daughter, and this adds a further erotic element to me. The look in her eyes expresses both fear and a shade of expectancy. The ice-cold background is in stark contrast with the warmth of the prisoners' bodies. Absolutely perfect.

As to the other three, I really don't like them so much. First, I don't like blood and nails, I like ropes (but this is a question of personal taste). Secondly, the girl seem to me far too young, I'm afraid she could be underage. That's why I didn't save any of her pictures.
 
The girl in question was known as Jenet Kreuz when she posed for the CCW magazines. She possibly goes under several names including Lena..see attached pic. She appeared on several sites due to her obvious attractive looks. I cannot find any evidence that she was underage at the time the CCW shoots were made. If you have anything definite then please let me know.
As far as ropes v nails is concerned you should read the impassioned plea by Lady Chlamydia Fairweather-Golightly on behalf of The Campaign For Real Nails. I would post the damn thing if I could find it..where is it??
In the meantime how about a poll on ropes v nails?

I don't think she is underage. You simply can't afford it as a mag. Looks may be misleading. They are selecting the girls to be looking young for sure.

I can think of two actresses who have played teens and sub teens into their late Twenties and Thirties. One is Sienna Guillory and the other is Juliette Lewis who is pushing 40 and can still play a young girl. Sienna is known for her roll in Resident Evil flicks but she played Helen in the TV series Helen of Troy. Juliette with her subteen breasts has been in a number of sifi and horror flicks including Dusk til Dawn.
The first two are Sienna as Helen and the last are Juliette in strange days. There shouldn't be a problem if we use pictures of known subjects who work in the legitimate film industry. Nothing should ever be published without some assurance of a models release. Pictures of somebodies wife or children would be begging for trouble and where children are involved jail.

Thank you Melissa, Fantasmo and Helmut for your kind answers, I am reassured now. No, I didn't have any proof she is underage, merely an impression drawn from her childish looks.

As to ropes vs. nails, my preference goes to ropes, even in my imagination. Perhaps it depends from a very shocking experience I had as a lay judge when we tried four defendants accused of having murdered a child with barbarous cruelty. The trial ended in four life sentences but the pictures of the murdered child we had to watch haunt me ever since.

There must be a poll somewhere regarding ropes vs. nails. I saw it but didn't vote because I was too new to the forum then.
