OK, the artist behind this Jim Kent book was a dude named Col Cameron. Haven’t found a bio yet, but he seems to have been active in the 60’s and 70’s.

I was happy to find this thread with the kind of pulp magazine and paperback covers I have become rather obsessed with over the last few years. In particular I am a fan of the men's adventure magazine covers of the 50s and 60s. I can remember seeing these kinds of titles on the grocery store magazine rack back when I was a kid and finding them both fascinating and a bit scary. I never had the nerve to take one down and thumb through the inside. Here are some of the covers I have collected.

Just a couple of comments on these covers. 02 has a pretty good whipping with welts across the woman's back; this is the kind of thing I like most to see on or in one of these magazines. 04 has a whipping scene also, but it's a guy being whipped so in this case I focus more on the sexy woman or women doing the whipping. In this case it's a Nazi woman who appears to have no buttons at all on her blouse, which is almost always the case; there must have been a real shortage of them during the war.
