I agree with you. Beheading is a too quick termination ; itÂ’s better if the woman can suffer, but waiting for her end is also interesting to see. I love photos of preparation for an execution, especially when the picture is well done; it's probably more exciting than the death itself.

Some shots, as example of condemned women in face of her fates : decapitation, hangingÂ…

Please enjoy this young lady waiting to be put on the cross behind her. Unfortunately, crux websites donÂ’t publish many shots about the preparation and the waiting moments before hanging up the woman on the wood.

Agreed, Inge. Although I do confess to getting an ignoble thrill from the sight of nude, kneeling girls with their hands tied behind their backs.
