At the San Fransisco Execution Facility (SFEF), there are two wings, catering to the two "tiers" of execution mandated by US law.
The sorting procedure is the same for both tiers: offenders are stripped completely naked (and are left this way unto death), waxed bald (except for their heads, which are merely trimmed if too long), and sorted by age and gender, and then kept in holding cells until their scheduled time of execution. Waits of longer than a week are generally unheard of. The more attractive (and even most of the unattractive) of those confined here can expect rape at regular intervals, by both prison guards, other inductees, and even paying customers.
