Useful little resolutions.
Put the coursor over your Nickname and then click "Avatar"
You see that:
Click the "Durchsuchen"-"Search"-Button.
Navigate to the Place from your Avatar-graphic.
Double-click this graphic.

don't click, just put your cursor on your name, and the drop-down menu appears
(if you click, your Personal Details page opens)
If you can't hover over your name on the bar at top left, tap it and it should open your profile page,
at 'Personal Details', with a blank avatar box showing
(if it opens on a different part of your Profile, 'Personal Details' should be in the list on the left, tap there)
If you tap on that avatar box, a menu should pop up for you to upload your chosen avatar.
