It's a little-known fact that in certain quarters (Surrey, Brighton)
there are some country hotels which cater to unusual Weddings.
The Proprietors set aside on the premises special suites which,
among other attributes, are sound-proofed.
These suites stock all sorts of dungeon equipment, the point
of which is, immediately after the ceremony the groom takes the bride to
the secret suite and demonstrates to her the nature of her new married life.
Often this comes as a complete shock to the bride and she screams
(hence the sound-proofing) in protest (and in pain if the Groom is doing his job right)
but the Groom usually succeeds in convincing
his new partner in life of the wisdom of his ways.
"I thought you loved me!"
I do, my darling, as you will learn to love your new life!
