Actually from my American viewpoint she has been a rather class act as a monarch dating back to WW II well before I was born. Is she worth the money spent? I don't have a clue... That's for my friends on the Isles to decide.

I think that she is. The royal family bring in a lot more then is spent on them. Think of the tourist industry!!

I've enjoyed watching "The Crown". Claire Foy beautifully captures her growth from a young woman thrust into a difficult role into the person of stature that she has been for my entire lifetime.
