Rape is a terrible crime against women. It should always be punished to the full extent of the law.
However, this scene is horribly, wonderfully, depicted.
In the context of a crucifixion story, it is, I believe, an essential feature. I can hardly imagine a woman about to be executed by nailing her to a cross who would not be raped repeatedly beforehand.

Your image is part of a crucifixion fantasy and I was being very casually flippant about the rape of this fictional woman. I am saying that a beautiful, sexually available woman will soon no longer be available to men for their sexual pleasure because she will soon be crucified.

In real life, rape is a horrible crime and should never be tolerated. True, men are sometimes unjustly accused of rape and their rights must be protected, but actual rape must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I think for most of those people who seek eroticism in this kind of stuff realism is essential as it brings more connections with reality in its details. The more realistic an erotic fantasy object looks the more it makes people's subconsciousness believe that their fantasy actually comes real. Therefore more realism=more eroticism.
For the artists, on the other hand, realism means more detail, more accuracy and this is also appreciated by them.
So my advice would be: shoot for the realism, you will never miss your audience

I suppose complete realism would not be so erotic (specifically about somebody crucified with nails ), because I seek esthetic result ... even with blood, sweat and bruises !
I want beautiful bodies and movements and more than that, beautiful lighting and ambient atmosphere.
For example, you may notice, I very rarely use frontal and pure white lights and I avoid as much as possible sharp shadows.
If possible, I also use depth blur and motion blur.
All things, that increase rendering time more and more ... but the result is worth the wait, I think.
I know many people here think my work is too expensive for them ... is it actually expensive ? maybe ...

But a strange thing happened : there are a lot of prices available (beginning around 10/20€) and I offered to test the quality of my work by purchasing 1 or a few cheap things ( don't tell me 20€ is not affordable ) . No answer.
But a few people purchased complete packs ( pics or movies ).

I think, that is a little misunderstand. Bach not supressed in GDR. Bach born in my neighbor city and work a few years in my city as organist in the Divi Blasii Church. And we had a disk label for old music too. And i confess, i had no interest to church music in my young years.That's just criminal, in my opinion. I'm not against a secular education, and am all for a secular state, but to suppress Bach is a crime against art and humanity!
