my only complain about all the naked-manips and creations there is, that many of these feel like a very sorry excuse for only showing unrealistically big cocks in full glory....

Yes. Whatever you are most comfortable with. Of course, historically, the condemned had no choice as to the manner of their crucifixion. It was up to the executioners to decide.

Just going through some of my files. This is something someone sent me about an auction in Croatia. I love how he is so naked and exposed for prospective buyers. I was told that the Japanese buyer nailed him to a cross, a multiple outdoor crucifixion scene. Nothing is confirmed but I'd love to have seen this one sweat and twist. As in that infamous movie "Hostel", I've often been told that all of this is all to real.

I agree with PhilX, the condemned must be naked, the executioners and the observers dressed or partially dressed but not naked.
The condemned may initially be dressed but stripped for execution.
In my fantasies I present myself like this.

Problem is Patrizio that it tended to be the Romans who crucified people.

There were naked executions since, a burning for instance would be mainly a naked spectacle as the thin chiton shirt-like garments victims wore would be speedily burnt away very early as the flames got higher.

I would imagine that in the execution of being hung drawn & quartered that to draw out the guts (while still alive) it would have been a lot easier if the clothes were removed.

Wheeling was done with victims naked and staked out before their limbs were smashed to pulp with a cartwheel.

All these were great spectacles for the crowds turning out for great entertainment - & executions really were considered to be fun for all the family back then. However there is something rather special about crucifixion, the Romans were masters at drama & spectacle. Firstly the execution took a long time, many people would have the opportunity to see it. There is something about the position & pose the victim is placed in, being stretched with arms wide is dramatic - in normal life it is a dance-like pose of exhilaration, people do it when happy, triumphant, showing off, etc. there is a bitter irony to exhibit someone being tortured to death in such a pose.

I don't think crucifixions done until fairly recently in Japan had the victims totally naked though.

I mean, if I want to get to get "inspired" by a crux pic, I prefer certain body types, that may be different for others, but the overall-impression should feel "natural". If I may name an example, the work by Thomas Mahoney is an excellent style according to my own "taste". The victims are naked but you never get the impression that the crucifixion is an "presentation tablet for oversized cocks" neither the victims have genitals looking as if there would be a porn actor hanging on the cross.
These three are my favorites my Mahoney. Too bad he has retired.

Picture 9. The crowd starts to gather just following the farmer's market. The vendors take advantage of the situation, sell the remaining rotting fruit and produce to interested crucifixion spectators. The crows become interested, they shall follow him to skull hill.
Picture 10. Devices of torment are on display on a table. Well paying buyers can pick and choose. However the prisoner cannot die before crucifixion.
Picture 11. A sadist purchases what seems is a scorpion. places on the belly hole, a major pain center. He stares into the anguished face. "I so look forward to seeing you perish on the wood".
PIcture 12. Arrow torture is very tricky. The bows and arrows may be rented, but the wounds are not to be fatal. The advantage is his pain is greatly increased for the crucifixion. It will be interesting to see if he dies from suffocation, or the feverish infection of these wounds. He may go mad, and twist painfully until the end. Sadistic medical students like to play this game, take notes as he eventually dies on the cross.
