Not sure I agree. I'm old enough to rememberFYI, it appears that there aren’t even any photoshopped nudes of her. Hard to believe nobody’s tried to do one or a thousand.

But naked images of Miss Lillian for the kind crass and degraded purposes we seek in this thread are an entirely different matter. Marilyn Monroe's calendar pics were in color by intent; the erotic impact is lessened in B&W.
On a marginally related note, Lillian Gish was around 40 when she played Ophelia across from John Gielgud's Hamlet on Broadway
and she'd still looked great naked then.

In MGM's sequel to the original hit, Johnny Weissmuller (title character) and Maureen O'Sullivan (Jane) having a swim and yes, she's quite naked underwater, though it's really her swim double Josephine McKim, in this restored version, not seen in 1934, of Tarzan And His Mate.

Dfg, I just spent a lot of time I ain’t proud of trying to establish if Annette Kellerman shaved her pubic hair or not, and failed.
There also seem to be no extant full frontal nude photos of her, so until further evidence is unearthed, the question remains a mystery . . .

Oh, with these questions we enter the secrets of applied physics. It was rumoured, that it was recommended that all body hair should be removed when you swim to be faster, so I guess she removed her body hair, therefore also the pubic hair to swim faster. There is however the possibility, that some hair indeed allows the so-called super cavity effect which was studied and understood mainly by the Russian military research. I should start a project financed by the NSF and the military which studies that effect by experimenting with nude shaved and not-shaved male and female peoples in water.
