Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.... Of course an ancient execution was a disgusting scene, spectators would be more likely to throw up than anything. I'm not sure that's the aspect that'll get too many likes on here, but folk can make up their own minds.
I ran a story recently in which my alter ego was suddenly confronted with the gruesome, stinking reality of crucifixion, and I did add a little brown stain to the inside of Jasmine's thigh, so I take your point that crucifixion was no peep show.
