There is that moment
that indescribable moment
for which all simple words fail
That moment when
my heels dig in, my butt rises
knees lock and back arches
That moment when
every muscle, every sinew
tenses with rapt expectation
That moment when
the escalating buildup reaches
that tantalizing very edge of release
That moment when

All I know is the dampness coating my thighs isn't sweat from the ride anymore...
