Zell is one of the greats and a pioneer in the genre. He was a master of expressions, poses, body language, lighting, materials, stories in an era when 3D imaging was still relatively young. I believe that he modeled many of the props himself, and his characters look more lifelike than many of the largely celebrated ones available today on the market.
