I think suffering alone in a dungeon is a bit of a waste. A comment was made similar to that on the Quoom 3 Princesses torture series.

At some point, she must be shown to the world, a broken shell of a girl, to reinforce the power of the new king.

This lady Margareth was so arousing that I had to do some manipulations to my taste. Love those sweet feet, I had to take her sandals off, she must feel the cold stone. Scusi Michele ..

And to think the constable invited us in to watch her take her punishment, too! I can't wait to tell all the ladies at tea tomorrow ... such a delicious little story ... owwww .... she's really getting it now ... Charles, please take me home ... I am feeling .... well, Charles ... watching those lashes break over her bare straining back makes me feel so .......

Below : the beginning (1st picture) : the guilty maid begs her rich and cruel mistress to spare her the whip (she accidentally broke some object)
My scenario is different : they make her whip by a professional (but this picture is a fake, cf above)
These professionals existed at the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century
Young girls were professionaly caned by a some Mrs. Smith, a pastor's wife, for 1 guinea (21 shillings), in the presence of their parents or not.
She tied them on a caning/whipping board, butt and legs nude (or entirely nude, I don't know). She sold canes too.
Cf "Happy Valley", which takes place in a British colony in Africa (Kenya ?) in the 30ths
Cf too "Amanda's Punishment"
There was professionals of that kind in colonial context, men who whipped females slaves, cf "uncle Tom's cabin", in Caribeans/West Indies and South of US, and maybe in Brazil, etc.

Yes, Happy Valley was - indeed still is - in the 'White Highlands' of Kenya. The 1983 BBC film was based (loosely) on the memoirs of Juantia Carberry, whose actual treatment by her brutal father, sadistic stepmother and various governesses and schoolmistresses, was appreciably worse even than the pretty disturbing scenes in the film - see a very full and factual review on http://www.corpun.com/books4.htm (scroll down the page to find it). The film is not to be confused with a US comedy or a BBC Yorkshire-based series, both with the same name. The YouTube clips have Hebrew subtitles, but the clipped upper-class English accent cuts like a cane!

In the colonial background, which was the same in French and, I guess, Portuguese terrritories... And still exists !!
About it, an excellent cartoon ('BD') dating from the 70's. No caning !
My godmother, whose father had been killed at Charleroi (1914), had been brought up in that school and all the details are true.
Interesting description of the period of Algeria independence (1961-62) and state of mind of militaries at this period (I remember it)
