There has been a fair bit of talk in a couple of other places about it being centred on tags
Tags? What are they and how does that work?

I don’t know but it involves a sharp spike and a lady’s naughty-bits.Tags? What are they and how does that work?
Nude crucified persons. You too Sir? Why?
When you upload something, you can allocate tags to it that describe the content. DA's search engine will then index these. I would guess that there is now a bot hunting down images (and texts, eventually) which have been tagged in certain ways. For instance, BartNel has tagged his latest image with 'torturebondage' (along with other, far less problematic descriptions).Tags? What are they and how does that work?
Well shit, now I’m feeling left out . Come on DA you moralistic priggish assholes, ban me too!
That was before it was bought by a software company that creates services to build websites (Wix)I suppose the only "deviant" aspect of DevianArt was their blatant disinterestedness in freedom of expression after all.
It feels surprising for a website which has made its reputation mostly from the remarkable diversity and boldness its members have shown in expressing their art.
I knew it was a mistake to tag my works with such keywords as “elf-porn” and “elephant-buttsex”When you upload something, you can allocate tags to it that describe the content. I've done the same.I just purged my crux stuff from there before i get banned!
Nice to have still some kind of control
They have nice freebies for 3d artist that cannot be downloaded
if you are banned i think...
Unfortunately, your watched artist list is about to start shrinking every day, I fear. And now, when an artist is purged (this seems the most appropriate word), all their work goes and your favourites folder shrinks tooI hope they don't ban people based on their favourites and watched artists, then I would be in trouble!
Rule 34 applies. (There really is a huge amount of elf-porn out there...... Elephant buttsex? I am not going to Google that tonight!)I knew it was a mistake to tag my works with such keywords as “elf-porn” and “elephant-buttsex”
So mass untagging might serve as some protection? There has been a fair bit of talk in a couple of other places about it being centred on tags
Hopefully in the case of a few offending pieces among a much larger repertoire, DA will just strike them, or warn the artist too.Yes... but the fellow who has made many of the freebies, Noone102000 has also done two pieces of crux art. So he might be on thin ice as well.
This is pretty much why I have never posted any of my work on DA. I've been a member there for a long long time and I always felt there was a possible threat. I want to keep my membership!

Moore, you remember our visits to the morgue, don't you? That's what they put on the big toe of the murder victims.Tags? What are they and how does that work?
Well unicorns certainly deviate from normal horses, don't they? From now on, 'deviant' = ponies, rainbows and unicorns.
