Carl Barks did some great comics. I grew up reading old ones my dad had kept. So much fun.

All of these are being re-released in a series of (cardboard--covered) books: Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge. They seem to be doing one of each a year. I've been buying them for the 11-year-old son of a friend of mine. His copies now look highly used. It's a good way to get kids to read. So far, I haven't come across "The Hound of the Whiskervilles", which is a real classic.

Funny, always thought they were sort of cattle -ish ..... Checked up and they belong to the family Bovidae, which includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep ...... Whowuddathought.

While I don't live in the American South and don't eat alligators (really no water in the desert!), this is making me hungry for some bovine steaks...

Well i have to be honest a couple of poser pictures turned up on my computer
with white men bringing their wives presumable to a big black man with a
bullwhip and asking him to whip the wife, now of course that did get me hot
thinking about being whipped in detroit by big black men before being sent
