Big week here Tree, my daughter graduated from school and had a birthday. Still the HSC (final) exams to come and then it's off into the big bad world as an adult.

So I've been doing the proud father bit (and forking out money for meals out etc)

I see that this image is titled "Roxie's special birthday:
I wonder which one of the three is Roxie. Could it be the woman on the cross who is enjoying her "special Brithday"? Or maybe Roxie is one of the other ladies that is enjoying the woman on the cross....and how the heck did Top-Cat manage to get such a great view of things?

The resort had forbidden to reserve benches at the swimming pool, using towels. This is the punishment for offenders of that rule (but the managment did not notice that some die-hard crux fans among the guests deliberately broke the rule).

On Deviantart Bobnearled explains that the Via Appia series commemorates the aftermath of the Spartacus revolt (that being the location of the crucifixions) and with 6000 slaves, many with the same or similar names, Crassus is supposed to have resorted to a numbering system for his victims. Sounds plausible?
