I know Montycrusto recently posted a link to his Deviantart site somewhere here on the Forums. I've had a look and some of his pics are really really worth seeing. The carrying pic that Emily coloured was wonderful. And there are some brilliant and striking depictions of cornu's which have to be seen. In fact, I'll post them here! Also one very uncomfortable arms over the crossbeam crux, nice ribs etc. Go and have a look.

Hi Emily, I know how much you like these manips. This one actually started out a long time ago, rather differently - totally different background, skin texture etc, and it really wasn't working at that time. But I knew it had potential and when I went back to it, I reworked all the tension in the shoulders and put a whole new sheen of perspiration on the skin (takes ages manually with soft 'pencil' work in the Paint application, so I don't always risk this much effort), created a new cross and simplified the background after capturing a streaky afterglow with my camera, put it all together and thought, 'YES'! I'm so glad I went back and rescued it as I'm really pleased with the result, and especially happy that everybody likes it so much. It also taught me something about restrained tension because I think I was close to overdoing the facial expressions prior to this one. I never really know how they're going to turn out...
