Why settle for one method when with sufficient care and ingenuity they can suffer many agonies?

first put them on an horizontal frame that spreads them, that way you can give them a prolonged taste of roasting coals under their bodies and branding irons. After that they can learn the desperation of drowning with a funnel on their throats and great amounts of water ( or other fluid) forced down their throats.
Having them with the bloated bellies a flogging/caning will surely feel specially painful, all the while pulling them in four diferent directions, the weight of the water filled stomach adding to their weight and thus the ropes tension.

The pulling can continue for several hours till a water gurgling scream tells us that all upper and lower limbs have been finally dislocated.

Then it is time for impalement. With the useles limbs they will not be able to prevent their descent. And to liven thngs up, the impalement post is filled with several copper rings along it's lenght, to able to give varying current paths so they dance with dislocated limbs on their way down.

I'm sure some other method can be added along the way.
