Kneeling would not work ..... The device is called a "One-Bar Prison"
As long as the prisoner is wearing very high heeled shoes .... once the bar is adjusted to 100mm insertion, it is impossible for her to lift herself off the device or bend her knees sufficiently to jump off.

seriously, don't assume that fucking is pain-free for us girls, it quite often isn't -
but yes, it would be worth putting off the glowing hot spike for a few minutes,
with the outside chance it might stop glowing!
