Hi everyone! Brand new me,bee. Am I posting in the right place for introductions?

I came across this forum circuitously. Googling crucifixion I ran into some BDSM porn. I thought,"Wow there's a fetish for this!" Googling further I found some videos of some lovely ladies being crucified. After I calmed down a little, I wanted to find a discussion of this. Further googling led me to this site where I've lurked for about a week.

Apart from the erotic aspects, which I do not deny enjoying at all, I have many questions I would love to ask. I am a conservative Christian and cruxplay has cuased me to see crucifixion in a whole new light, the likes of which we don't see in seminary.

I'm still processsing all of this, but it's obviously hitting a nerve with me and so I feel compelled to reach out. I have about two pages worth of questions I would very much like to ask. Should I start separate threads for each?

I really appreciate the opportunity to ask, if that's okay. One concern I have is that I am a conservative Christian. I have some trepidation about being accepted in the BDSM community. I assure you I'm here to learn, not to preach. It is my desire to sit at your feet, pun intended.

Welcome here. I wouldn't start a separate thread for each question. Why not start a thread with 1 or 2 of the most interesting questions and see how things go?

Welcome St George, I'm delighted you've found us and I'm sure lots of friends here will make you welcome.

I don't think you'll find yourself entirely alone here, certainly many of us active here have come to Crux
from a seriously Christian background of one kind or another,
and some of us still reconcile our erotic fascination with crucifixion
with genuine - if perhaps rather unorthodox - religious beliefs.

We're a friendly lot, honestly, we only have occasional problems if someone tries to force their views on others,
or uses abusive language instead of discussing differences in a friendly way.
Certainly thought-provoking questions are welcome, I'd suggest opening a single thread to begin with,
tell us a bit more about yourself and the questions that are on your mind,
see how it goes :)

Welcome StGeorge. Everyone is welcome here. If you have questions about navigating the site, ask any of the staff via a PM message. If you wish to post general questions to the membership about views on certain subjects, start a new thread ... and perhaps consolidate all your questions into that thread if possible.

Welcome StGeorge.:) I quite understand your background, interest, and questions. As Eulalia said, look around. A number of us are quite talkative, and we talk about all aspects of BDSM and crux (well, we don't all talk about absolutely everything, but someone is always talking about something - you get what I mean). You're almost bound to find something that explains things, or at least interests you. Seeing your username, if you have a dragon that needs slaying, we can perhaps help with that. On the other hand, if you WANT a dragon, we will be more than happy to supply one. :devil:
