I find it frustrating that Michele Patri produces some of the best, most seamless and artfully constructed photomanips, and then coats them with a stippled pattern of dots that covers up the great quality of the work.

I haven’t discussed this with Signor Patri, but I believe he’s trying for an "ancient Roman wall painting" style.

And I rather like said style. Lots. :very_hot:

These stoic crucified amazons aren’t quite on topic, but given that they both push my libido buttons I had to put them somewhere, so here you go. ;):very_hot:

Damian did his savage parody of this 1866 painting of Saint Julia of Corsica in 2001. Last year I encountered an excellent reworking by an unknown artist, and golly gee whiz, am I glad I did. :very_hot:

Therr is one more crucified pic too. But I m not sure all are done by same artist.

Hmm, well you may be right Apostate, but I also suspect that this filter is used to assist in blending the different components together to create what Hangnail calls "some of the best, most seamless and artfully constructed photomanips". This is an artist who combines photos and 3d art, I think it works well because of the stippling filter. There was a male crux artist who used this effect very well back in the late 90s early 2000s.

Here you go, stepnash. Damian didn’t title these, but when I could still attach labels I called them:

1. Sanitized For Your Protection.

2. Unsanitized.

3, Men At Work.

4. Get Real.

Yes that's what I meant , a set by Darmian, the previous impaltion wz stick is not sure by Darmian as different color.
I do like ur titles :)

Thanks very much Yupar, I knew there were some more and the last one really finishes off the sequence.
Her master returns, only to find she has been put to death for refusing to renounce her faith, her martyrdom complete.
It would be really good if somebody could do an earlier version of what happened to her when she was arrested tortured and stripped before they crucified her, I could certainly write the story.
Anyway thanks again.

Well Phlebas, you’ve piqued my curiosity in the next dimension. Don’t put yourself out, but if you have a link or sample I and others would be mightily obliged.

BTW, although it never occurred to my incurious mind, I now see what you mean by Patri's blending of real bodies and 3D figures.

It is interesting to me to see how he blends the work of others into his new compositions. The body of the girl in this rendering of his is actually from one of my renderings (note the position of the legs) --resized with a new head on her. Like I say, "Interesting..."

I would say "Fascinating." You’ve gotten so good with 3D figures that a real woman’s screaming head on top of one fooled me.:clapping:

Found on Foundation by someone called Blake-Stronge. I still prefer ancient Roman settings, but I gotta say that post-apocalyptic hellscapes make excellent backgrounds for crux.

Another by Blake-Stronge, possibly set in the same hellscape as the one above.

Another repeat, but one that makes me wish mightily that this artist would draw humans.

He’s not only goddam good, he gets crux. :very_hot:

287CBFA4-DFB9-43BE-BE67-08DF7EB5B5C3.jpegI appreciate the renders and manips as much as most. And I like the stripping and rape here, wonderful.

But look closely at the original. Her young soft body hinted at sensually by the flowing clothes. Her head back with a wonderful look of...what? Pain, Satisfaction? Peace? Beautiful face structure. Dark soft long hair pulled back and flowing down behind her back to just show at her waist.

I love this girl!:very_hot::very_hot::very_hot::clapping:
