Yea, verily. Damian wouldn’t even have to graft onto her a screaming face, however seamlessly.

Speaking of Damian, I found one of his last week that I’d never seen before. It’s unsigned, but he tell me it’s his, an older one, and he’d be obliged if I’d let him know in future who’s posting his stuff unattributed.

Which I’ll be happy to do.

For crux fans the Damian manip below is familiar, being one of the seminal crux art images in at least two senses of that word. But I always found a central detail a bit off putting; either the gentleman standing on the right is extremely short, or the crucified blonde barbarian is a giantess.

So one afternoon with Photoshop™ and zero training I set out to give the fellow some stature. The risibly botched outcome may not to be seen below. Somebody took pity on me and tried to clean it up, and really did a fine job given what he had to work with.

We now see a tall, 1st century CE passerby looking on with appalled pity, or a raging erection, or both, for these are not mutually exclusive things.

Indeed. He messed up the first version. At first the crowd and cross shadows didn't quite fall in the same direction, but he quickly corrected them
