I have previously bowed to her Royalty...

She glittered in the lamplight

“And who are you?” She glared at me
“My name is Wragg,” croaked I
“And why are you in the land of Crux?
“I think you are a spy!”
“A spy? Not I!” I said to her

“I’ve only just arrived” I said,
“Just out for a country walk!”
“Hmmm.” Said she, and glared again
As she munched on oeufs au gratin
“If you’re a subject, true, of mine
“You’ll speak quite fluent Latin!”
“What’s ‘Condemmed to the Cross’?” She asked
"We’ll try that, for a starter"
I’d seen that on the way to here

Her majesty was not amused
Her golden hair flamed red
She broadcast to her people
And this is what she said:
“We shall crucify them on the beaches, we shall crucify them on the landing grounds, we shall crucify them in the fields and in the streets, we shall crucify them in the hills; we shall never surrender!”

But the original Greek would have had a short 'a' - roughly 'e-oo-lallia' -
the modern Spanish pronunciation is pretty similar, but with /ju-/ 'yoo-'
but I think the French pronunciation of Eulalie is the sexiest.
