The Ge.tt link :http://ge.tt/5nhFM192/v/0?c
You will need to unzip the 48 megabyte file.
The video is in .mp4 format it should play on most PC or Mac.
Again its supposed to be hosted for 30 days but that seems to be not the case anymore.
Enjoy.
Hello hornet1ba,

I tried twice to download the .zip file but twice the decompression failed. I am using Mac/Safari. I'm enjoying your excellent postings immensely. Thank you.

Warm regards,

A nice surprise awaits them
I expect when the excitement at the Circus Maximus dies down,
they'll hear the screams from the Colosseum, and hurry over!

Delicious! Rome had some of the best spectator sports, I think, and I'm not talking about chariot racing! With that many women, it must have taken a while to render, though. Unless you did it in chunks?
Thank you
That's a 1 hour render using the more advanced Iray rendering engine.
Here is the 3D delight rendering engine, that took about 10 minutes, still looking good!

But to add that many women i did reduce the texture maps of some of the 3d models of the women.
But you're right a way to add more figures is using rendering layers, and join them later in a image program like Photoshop.
I can try to add more but i'm afraid that my computer would not be able to handle the scene.

Well, to be honest, I think the sweet spot is usually two, three, or five women. I think that's the prime amount where you still see their tortures individually, but get the sense of them being part of a larger execution. If anything, I focus a bit too much on individual women, and group scenes that I do are just a collection of nearly unrelated individual crosses.

But Hornet's recreating the mass crucifixion scene in the Polish Quo Vadis film,
an ambitious challenge, successfully taken up -
I think it makes an immediate impact by the sheer quantity of suffering flesh,
then your eye looks among the rows and takes in the girls one by one.

I agree: its hard to find the sweet spot!
The camera position is very important when you have a complex scene:

Forgive me for playing with a wonderful image but I was trying to give it a more early morning feel.
??????

If I could only get a bit more yellow in it.
