Wrists stright up is less stressful. Their bodies are stretched, but those nailed feet give good Support.

No need to find out. There are no good or bad guys in this conflict. There is just cruelty.
The guys in the back are more concerned about an ambush or a booby trap. They probably will let her hang, as they continue their scouting mission.
