Loved the addition of the helicopter. It reminds me of Argentina's Dirty War, during the 1976-83 military dictatorship, where some 30,000 persons were "disappeared". Many were students, young and female. A favourite option was aerial, over the ocean, out the door from a kilometre up - after, of course, in the case of female "terrorists", bearing their jailer's wives a baby. A different take on surrogacy, and population enhancement!
This was a program said to have been set up under the auspices of the CIA, with training run out of the Georgetown Street Car Barn, a semi-abandoned brick building overlooking the Potomac River. A few meters further up the incredibly steep stairs, on Prospect Place, is "The Exorcist House" (see Google Maps) where John Boorman filmed his execrable film of the same name in 1973. At least they didn't push Linda Blair down those steps to celebrate the wrap. There is more to reveal about the neighbourhood because one of JFK's mistresses was assassinated two blocks from the Exorcist House in '65 but I won't bore you.
It's a fun town. As good as lingchi.
