When lacking inspiration I normally take an old 3D scene and play around with it.
Or have a look at other people work and focus on one that catches me,
First replicate as much as possible then try to make it better and make it my own.
Changing point of view can do so much sometimes for a scene.
Making a series of something is to keep busy with your craft/skill/art

Just find a way to get inspired:)

Not reaching your goals? Not everything is easy to master.
Mastery takes a lot of time..
Things I heard some of my mentors say about skills.
"First 1,000 Hours is the time of apprenticeship, but it takes 10,000 hours to master."

Inspiration sometimes comes at the most awkward times. be sure to record it ASAP.
Sketch/ make a note/ etc, so when the moment comes you have time you can recall it.

Yeah, I run into that a lot, as well. My kids are teenagers, now, and since it's summer (no school), they tend to stay up late. I've made it a policy that they can talk or hang out with me whenever they want...and they do.
"Hey, Dad, what do you think about the private space flight industry?" "Hey Dad, wanna watch some Castlevania?" "Hey Dad, pet the cat. Look at this lazy bastard."
"Kids. it's 1 AM. Why are you still up?"
"I dunno. No school? In between online games? I hate sunlight?"

It's great having a good relationship with my kids, and I'm pretty sure that they suspect that I'm into kink. They KNOW I'm weird. I still don't want to have to explain why I'm sketching two people having sex while watching a woman hang. That's a conversation I'd rather NOT have at 1 AM with my teenage daughter.

Heh. Yeah. I've got dozens (maybe hundreds) of short descriptions, quick sketches, quickly thrown together photos that inspired something. My UFO bin is overflowing. The question is, 'will I ever actually get back to them to complete them?'

It happens occasionally...but not often enough.
 
Soooooo many started/partially complete projects. I should really finish one or two. Of course, I am putting off RL work (like the five belts I should be making today). I'm gonna try to force myself to work on a simple one. Who knows, maybe I'll finish one.
 
Aaaaannnndddd my tablet is fucking up, and I don't know why. Probably something in that Microsoft update a couple of days ago. I can't win, today.
Guess I'll try going back to finishing that leatherwork.
 
HA! Finally finished one. Only took a day to get back to it. Only one character, but properly shadowed and highlighted (which I have not done in awhile). Not my best work, but not bad, I think. Hopefully, this gets me a little bit back into the groove.
 
I'm not sure where I should post this 3D work so I thought I'd ask. This appears to be the best place to ask. We've interacted with different artists who worked to create the Mrs. In 3D. Does anyone have a suggestion? The quality goes from a remarkable very close likeness to what they said was their visual creation to project their ideas. Please let us know and we'll post if appropriate. Thanks.

Does anyone have a suggestion about what? I'm a 3D artist, so maybe I can help, but what do you need help with?

More a question to the admins than a question for artists. If you think other members will be interested, why not start a thread “my 3D wife” or something*. I do hope there will be at least SOME bdsm content though! Vanilla porn is so dull!

* if you don’t know whether people would be interested or not, do it as a poll. You can ask “ here are a couple of pics we’ve made so far, do you want to see more? Yes/no”

Thanks much for the feedback. I did provide a couple images earlier in this thread. I'll llikely start a thread to test the waters.
