Introduction

A few hundred years ago there was the Academy for the Virgin Martyrs. It was a finishing school for daughters of well-to-do parents and would later become the University for the Virgin Martyrs once the education of women became more acceptable.

Back then the tradition called for the crucifixion (to death) of a student for the end of the spring semester. Being stripped naked and nailed to a cross was either a high honor or a most embarrassing way to die, depending on whether the queen of Spades was drawn and the student with the best grades was crucified or the skeletal form of the joker wild card was pulled and the woman with the lowest grades would suffer a most public naked crucifixion. Either way it was a torturous way to die as you can see here.

Stephanie was mortified when the Joker was drawn. She had neither wanted to go to the Academy for the Virgin Martyrs, had not put any efforts in her studies, nor was she a virgin (though the Academy did not know that fact). She barely passed her semester and with the Joker drawn she would be nailed naked to the cross.


She would hang bare above the quadrangle until she succumbed to the tortures of the cross.

Through the centuries one student per year was ceremoniously crucified in the quadrangle. Others would suffer the same miserable demise on the Hill of 100 Crosses for excessive demerits or for the entertainment of the staff.



Unfortunately, the number executed on the Hill of 100 Crosses was not recorded in the records of the Academy of the Virgin Martyrs. Sometime in the 1960s the Academy became the University of the Virgin Martyrs. This was done to ease fundraising although the annual crucifixions and the Hill of 100 Crosses were still used, just not publicly recorded.

Then around 2010, a new student enrolled at the UVM. Barbara Moore was an excellent student that also volunteered to do chores around the university. She accidentally found a secret panel in the faculty library that revealed a treasure of revealing books and films that could only be kindly considered pornographic! She kept her find secret from the faculty but shared them with her trusted dorm-mates. Soon, Barb’s dorm could be considered a source for making new films (although we are told they did not).



The girls secretly practiced their new sexual urges whenever they could.


But somehow their actions were discovered by the faculty!

Even Barbara was forcefully arrested.



Though she was clothed when she was arrested, she was strip searched and taken naked to the campus prison.



You see, at UVM once you are charged with a crime you are presumed guilty and must prove your innocence. Needless to say, good attorneys are hard to find!

The unreported Trial of the Century…

The followers of Barbara Moore were tried before the faculty of the University of the Virgin Martyrs. They are allowed to wear prison jumpsuit but are denied legal representation.



Collectively they are all found guilty and sentenced to death by crucifixion.

Next tried were the dormmates of Barbara. The young women are brought naked and in chains before the Honorable Judge T.H. Tree who (of course) found the women guilty and condemned them to death on their crosses on the Hill of 100 Crosses.



A special trial was held for the French student Messaline.



Though there was a consensus to send her back to France Chancellor Wragg convinced the Jurors she should suffer the same fate as her peers and she also was condemned to death by crucifixion.

The last trial was Barbara Moore’s. To make it appear to be a fair trial she was represented by The Hanging Tree who kept his won-loss record free of court victories.



Barbara was contemned to be crucified with her fellow student lovers!

The day before her crucifixion…

I’m locked in an underground dungeon. In a cage across from me, Messaline is praying her cross will be made of premium French crucifixion wood.



I don’t really care if mine is made of cheap Ozark pine. They are going to nail me to the damn thing and I’ll hang from it until I die. Kathy is chained standing against a wall. She’s moaning about how she hopes the crucifixion will be more comfortable than this damn dungeon



Crap, I don’t have the heart to remind her the goal of crucifixion is to kill us.

Some high-ranking clergy man drops in for a visit. He promises to pray for our quick demise on the cross.



As politely as possible, I tell him not to waste his prays on me. He condescendingly prays I hang for days on the cross before I die. Fuck him and his church!

Late in the day- I suppose it is late; there’s one damn lightbulb down here and it is always on- a guy called ‘Spike’ Sharp from some paper called the Crux Chronicle comes by. He interviews us one at a time and I am last on his list. He talked a while to Messaline and Kathy. I’m in no mood for small talk.

“What’s the matter? Are you gay or something? We are all in chains and you haven’t fucked any of us” I spit out to him.



He lights up a cigarette and says “I prefer my women to wish I’ll be back. By this time in the morning you will be meat hanging from a cross.”

Of course. Mind you, 100 crosses is a lot. You have to be creative to fill that number (especially if you've done it a few times and people are onto you).

Crucifixion Day on the Hill of 100 Crosses…

It is a beautiful day at the University of the Virgin Martyrs- unless you are one of the women condemned to death by crucifixion. The crucifixions started at 6:30 AM when the sun first rose on the Hill of 100 Crosses and an hour later the ‘junior’ members of Barbara’s gang are nailed to their crosses and can do nothing but watch the remaining women march up the hill to their own crucifixion.



In agony from being nailed to their crosses and hanging in spread display they watched the next group head for their own crucifixion.



The last woman in line is Barbara Moore. Though she claimed the UVM had no right to crucify her she carried her crossbar to the hill.



No mercy was shown by the students of her brother university as they nailed Barbara to her cross.



They raised Barbara and her cross and she hanged crucified with her sister lovers!


Before you note there are not 100 crucified women on the hill, that is its name, not that fewer women could be crucified there…
